SMS is charged separately at R0.35 per billable SMS part. Your plan covers the platform, so you only pay for the messages you actually send. See our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy. To cancel, sign in and open Support, then select “Cancel subscription”. All prices are stated in South African Rand (ZAR). Any applicable taxes will be shown before payment.

Your plan, your SMS wallet, and the payment methods we accept
Your plan: monthly or annual
Choose the plan that matches your learner count and pay monthly or annually. Renewals are collected automatically from a saved card, so a card is needed for a subscription.
SMS: a prepaid wallet
Text messages are separate from your plan and paid from a prepaid SMS wallet at R0.35 per billable SMS part. You top up when it suits you, and the exact part count and cost are shown before you confirm any send.
Card, Instant EFT or Scan to Pay
Wallet top-ups can be paid by card, Instant EFT or Scan to Pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider — SyncPoint never sees or stores your full card number.
Optional automatic top-up
You can ask us to top the wallet up automatically when the balance reaches an amount you choose, with your own monthly ceiling. It is off unless you switch it on, and you can switch it off at any time.
Invoices and receipts
Every successful payment produces a numbered invoice and receipt you can download from the Billing page. SyncPoint Digital Solutions is not currently a registered VAT vendor, so no VAT is added and these documents are not tax invoices.
Parent replies
We never charge your school for an incoming parent reply. A parent replies by ordinary SMS, so their own mobile network may charge them their normal SMS rate. A reply your staff send back is billed like any other message.
No feature paywalls — ever
Whichever tier fits your school, you get the whole product. The only thing that changes between plans is how many learners you're reaching.
R0.35 per SMS part — and you see the parts first
A Standard message allows up to 155 GSM-7 encoded units (or 70 Unicode characters) on the complete rendered SMS and is always exactly one billable part. A Long message allows up to 6 joined parts, and each part is billed.
